  1. How can I register for The Run?

  2. How do I know if my registration has been accepted?

    You will receive an email confirmation slip upon successful registration. Registered participants can also retrieve their confirmation slip here.

  3. How do I get here?

    The Charity Run starts at NUS School of Computing, 13 Computing Drive, Singapore 117417 (directions).

     

    Car Park Closures
    CP13 at NUS Computing will be closed on the day of the Charity Run. Parking is available at CP15.

     

    Bus Rerouting
    The NUS Internal Shuttle service will not stop at the COM2 bus stop from 1pm to 8pm on the day of the run. The nearest internal shuttle stop will be at the AS5 bus stop close to the entrance of Computing Drive.


  4. What am I entitled to as a Participant?

    Every Participant will receive a Run Pack: consisting of one runner’s T-shirt, a Running Bib and a Run Guide.

  5. Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registration?

    All registrations are strictly non-refundable.

  6. Can I transfer my registration to another person?

    All registrations are strictly non-transferable.

  7. What is the age limit for The Run?

    The minimum age is 13 years old as at 22 September 2018. There is no maximum age.

  8. Can I change T-shirt size at the Run Pack Collection?

    We are unable to allow for changes of size, because quantities of each size are limited. Please exchange with other Participants, if they are willing to do so.

  9. Why am I unable to get my T-shirt size?

    T-shirts are pre-ordered, with limited quantities for each size. If a particular size runs out of stock, we apologize that we will substitute with a different size, or different design.

  10. When and where do I collect my Run Pack?

    You may collect your Run Pack anytime between 14 to 21 September. The Run Packs will be dispensed from black-and-yellow Fotograft vending machines. Use your NRIC or the confirmation code in your confirmation email to retrieve the Run Pack. Visit https://beta.fotograft.com/ to check if your T shirt size is available.

  11. Is there baggage deposit?

    Yes, the baggage deposit will be located near the Start point. Please follow signs on Run Day to get to the baggage deposit. While we will take care of all bags and enforce security, The Organisers are not responsible for any loss or damaged items, or delay in depositing and retrieving bags. Participants are advised to travel light.

  12. What is the programme on Run Day?

    Details of the programme will be given on the Run Website, and in the Race Guide.

  13. Can I skate, cycle, or use a personal mobility device, or bring a baby stroller/pram at The Run?

    No. For the safety of others, skates, bicycles, or any form of personal mobility device will not be permitted. Baby strollers or prams are not allowed either.

  14. Can I walk during the Run?

    Yes, but please keep to the left and allow others to overtake you.

  15. Can I bring pets?

    No. Pets are not allowed.

  16. What happens if it rains?

    The Run will only proceed under dry or drizzling conditions. Participants are encouraged to exercise personal discretion on their participation, taking into consideration their personal comfort and circumstances.

    Inclement weather before flag-off:
    Should moderate or heavy rain or lightning develop before flag-off, the run may be delayed for half an hour. Should the inclement weather persist, the Organisers will cancel the run in view of safety considerations. Participants may still enjoy the stage programmes, including the lucky draw, at COM1 Seminar Room 1.

    Inclement weather after flag-off:

    Should moderate or heavy rain or lightning develop after flag-off, participants are advised to seek shelter at the nearest building. Race marshals will be on site to direct participants should they require assistance. Participants may still enjoy the stage programmes, including the lucky draw, at COM 1 Seminar Room 1.

  17. If I need medical help during The Run, whom can I approach?

    Please approach any Medical Point along the Route (see the Route map for where these are located), or approach any Road Marshal or Official.
